A man has been jailed for seven years that found guilty to abuse four vulnerable children over a number of years. Hull Crown Court judge has annouced this verdict on Friday.

Daniel Tranmer, 40, from Hull, was found guilty of ten counts of sexual touching against a child under 13 following a nine-day trial, which concluded in March. Tranmer was also ordered to sign the sex offenders' register for life.

Det Con Rebecca Davison, from Humberside Police's protecting vulnerable people unit, said: "Daniel Tranmer is a manipulative sexual predator who exploited and abused vulnerable and impressionable young girls over a number of years.

"Despite repeatedly denying these offences, the bravery and courage shown by the victims throughout the investigation and court proceedings has ensured he is now behind bars where he belongs."
