80 arrested on special raid in capital city

A total of 80 people have been arrested during special raids in different crime-prone areas under the Tejgaon Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police .

According to police sources, the operation was conducted on Tuesday as part of regular anti-crime activities in the capital city.

Among those arrested, 10 were detained by Tejgaon Police Station, 11 by Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station, 23 by Mohammadpur Police Station, 13 by Adabor Police Station, seven by Tejgaon Industrial Area Police Station, and 16 by Hatirjheel Police Station.

All detainees were produced before the court.
